You can look at the flowing water in the fountains for an infinitely long time. And if it is also masterfully combined with graceful bronze statues, then such splendor can hardly be passed by indifferent. It is these magical fountains, imbued with a sense of love and quivering tenderness, that are created by a German sculptor of Polish origin Malgorzata Khodakovskaya (Mal'gorzata Khodakovskaya).
The sculptural statues of Malgorzata, as if frozen for a second in graceful movements and graceful postures, deeply impress and captivate the audience. Half-nude figures, demigods from Greek mythology, combined with magical jets of water create a stunning impression.
The water, transforming, makes the bronze ring gently under its jets, creating a melody of water and metal. And bronze statues, in turn, cut the streams into millions of crystal drops, or transform the water so that it becomes an extension of the sculpture itself in the form of flowing hair, angel wings, a ballerina's pack, or just a background.
Khodakovskaya, in her delightful works, seeks to imitate the masters of the Renaissance, conveying beauty through the plasticity of the body. And the principle that the master is guided by is borrowed from the Great Michelangelo: to cut off everything unnecessary from the sculpture. True, she chose wood and bronze as the material for her creativity.
The sculptor Malgorzata Khodakovskaya is called a citizen of Europe, since she was born in the Polish town of Lodz, where she graduated from an art school, then in Warsaw - the Academy of Fine Arts. She studied the art of sculpting in the capital of Austria, after which she moved to German Dresden, where she showed herself as a talented master.
She, like a sponge, absorbed the richest heritage of European culture, and transforming the accumulated knowledge and experience, transferred it to her sculptures. Therefore, the sculptor laid the basis of her work on the traditions of both Greek classics and German Gothic, and much more, taken from other cultures.
Malgorzata Khodakovskaya did not immediately come to the idea of creating fountains, initially she was engaged in sculpture on wood, and then became interested in casting from bronze. Combining metal, water and emotions of love, happiness and joy, she created her own wonderful world - fascinating and attractive. - Malgorzata Khodakovskaya once shared her secret.
Continuing the theme of women sculptors, a story about a French woman Natalie Seguin - a world-famous sculptor, creating gorgeous dancing girls.

Undoubtedly, the lyricist in this pair was Bulat Okudzhava, and the physicist - Olga Artsimovich, and not in a figurative sense, but in the most direct sense. She grew up in a family of physicists and studied science herself. They were very different, but they had only one thing in common: the same love at first sight, which united them at the moment of meeting and for the rest of their lives
