Who among us in childhood did not read books about adventure Mowgli and never dreamed of being in the wilderness in order to feel at least for a moment what it is like to live according to the laws of the jungle. It turns out that nothing is impossible in the world, fate is a vivid example of this. Tippy Degre, a real "child of nature" who grew up in Africa.
The fate of Tippy Degre has already developed surprisingly, despite the fact that the girl is only 23 years old and much in her life is still ahead. Tippy is the only child in the family of French photographers Alan Degre and Sylvia Robert. The couple, originally from France, once went on a trip to Africa, fell so deeply in love with the extraordinary nature of this continent that they stayed here to work. The couple shot films about wildlife on the border with Namibia, and when their daughter was born, they were forced to move to Botswana, since the climate in this part of the African continent is more favorable. The girl was named after the actress Tippi Hedren, who, according to rumors, kept lions as pets … Tippy Degre, who grew up among predators, did not lose face in comparison with the famous namesake.
Until the age of 10, Tippy accompanied her parents on the set, carelessly playing with lions, elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, ostriches, mongooses, cheetahs, zebras, snakes … The girl perceived animals as ordinary friends with whom you can feel on equal terms. In the pictures, she looks like Mowgli: a shock of hair, a minimum of clothes and absolutely relaxed poses. It was as natural for the little one to hug the giant toad as it was to her peers, the teddy bear.
In addition to animals, Tippy constantly communicated with the indigenous people of the Namibian tribes. The natives taught the child their dialect, the rules of survival in the wild, hunting skills, and helped to pick edible berries. The girl was not afraid of animals, knowing that they needed to look in the eyes to be accepted by them.
When the girl was 10 years old, her parents were forced to take her to France so that she could get a school education. Of course, the child immediately became a star among her classmates, although her studies were given to her with great difficulty. Two years later, her parents were forced to pick her up from school and transfer her to individual education at home. Despite this, Tippy mastered the program, was fond of studying cinema. Growing up, she supervised the treatment of tigers at popular international animal exhibitions that take place in France. In addition, she wrote the book "Tippi of Africa", which immediately became a bestseller.
Unfortunately, it is not known what the Mowgli girl is currently doing, but she always considered herself African and showed a desire to obtain Namibian citizenship in order to return to native life side by side with wild animals.
