2024 Author: Richard Flannagan | [email protected]. Last modified: 2023-12-15 23:55
For over 20 years, the maestro Brendan Fitzpatrick is engaged in photography. As a young ambitious student, he wanted to become a graphic designer, artist, and author of fantastic illustrations. But then I discovered the beauty of photography as an art and a full-fledged profession. The photographer has lived and worked in Singapore for the past seven years. Fitzpatrick believes that photography is a rich and fascinating world. It balances the inner creative, spiritualized "I" of a person with his external "I" from the physical world. And nothing beats the feeling that you get when looking into the camera lens and noticing what was previously invisible and suddenly became so obvious. Recently, it is invisible-obvious to the photographer - X-rays, which he uses for an art project. Floral x-rays.
These colorful images of flowers in the "light" of X-rays are the result of several experiments carried out by an X-ray laboratory in Singapore. There is the equipment that allows you to digitize the results of the X-ray, and then all the artist needs is a few stages of post-processing. A little bit of graphic image editing and color adjustments in Photoshop to achieve the desired effect and we get the very final results you can see here Tulips, Orchids, Roses and Hibiscus - these and more of Brendan Fitzpatrick's Floral X-Rays series can be found at its website.

Japanese artist and color designer Takaya turns his models into such goddesses and dryads

Shards of fresh flowers in the Broken Flowers art project
And the rose fell on Azor's paw … And broke into small pieces. What a nuisance! It would be if it is a crystal or glass rose, broken through carelessness or prank. The flowers of New York photographer Jon Shireman are beating for a reason, and are not scattered by glass fragments. Broken Flowers series of photographs are real, fresh flowers, frozen and broken in the name of art
