New York-based artist Marion Bolognesi explores the intricacies of human emotions and their complexity. The most expressive part of the face is undoubtedly the eyes. That is why in the series of watercolors "Eye Series" the artist focused her main attention on them, depicting only the look - and nothing else.
People in Marion Bolognezi's watercolors cry, worry, dream … The artist creates her drawings, paying special attention to details, as a result of which she actually captures and conveys the emotions of the models with every soft, but at the same time strong brush stroke. In Marion's amazing drawings, it is easy to understand the state of a person, although we see only his gaze. These eyes seem to burn a sheet of paper and look directly into our souls, awakening in us the same deep feelings and emotions that are read in themselves.
Marion works as a designer and creates handbags. And she draws in her free time, so to speak - for the soul. Bolognese is a member of the Tank Theory art society.
Marion Bolognese was born on the island of Bonaire, part of the Netherlands Antilles. She now lives and works in New York.
