The illustrator known as Destroy Rock City, although his real name sounds like Lee Misenheimer, has a very distinctive style and unexpected characters. Lee draws only with a simple pencil or ballpoint pen, and what is depicted in his paintings is difficult to describe.
"Wind, wind, you are powerful, you drive flocks of clouds!" - the first association that a series of paintings evokes, which will be discussed today. It would seem an old Russian fairy tale - why did a New York artist have illustrations based on it? Well, he probably had completely different inspirations.
Yet I am convinced that this is how the American artist Lee Misenheimer sees the souls of wind, smoke and water. They are very much reminiscent of either the ancient Russian or the ancient Greek gods, who forced themselves to obey the elements, and as soon as they got angry, the oceans generated giant waves, the winds turned into hurricanes, and the smoke covered whole countries with a veil.
However, the creative world of Destroy Rock City is rich not only in these curious pictures. He has his own profile on Flicr`e, where you can be curious about what else interesting he managed to draw.

The latter will be discussed in this article, because without them it is difficult to imagine our life. They are used both in oral speech and in writing, enrich and bring color to our language, help to convey our thoughts to

Drums, smoke, heralds, and other ways news spread before newspapers and telegraphs
When the expedition of Miklouho Maclay's team was at anchorage near the coast of New Guinea, not yet landing on land, all the aborigines of the island were already aware of the visit of the guests. The explorer did not see a soul in the bay, only thick columns of smoke were seen on the hills. This is how the news of the arrival of strangers spread throughout the island. What other ways of spreading information were used by people in different eras - further in the article
Drawings of Fire and Water by Paul Chojnowski
Some of us were engaged in burning in childhood - they created drawings on a wooden board using a special red-hot needle. The American artist Paul Chojnowski does about the same, but he uses real fire and water, thirsting for copper pipes
Bald men and water wigs. Water Wigs Photo Project by Tim Tadder
Anyone who is not afraid to wet their heads is bald or shaven-haired men. It's just business that to get a bald spot wet with a napkin, and then wipe it with a rag. And also men rarely fool themselves and those around them with the subject "I have something with my face here" or "I'm fat in this photo." This is probably why American photographer Tim Tadder tried on his Water Wigs photographic project on hairless men
