Belgian photographer Ben Goossens is often referred to as the Salvador Dali of photography. Undoubtedly, his photographs in composition and style resemble the features of the famous artist. But the difference is that the work of Goossens undergoes computer retouching and processing in Photoshop, after which it is rather difficult to understand where this fine line between reality and fiction actually lies.
Ben Goossens lives in Willenbrook, Belgium. He graduated from the School of the Arts, where photography was one of the selective subjects. For 35 years, Ben Goossens worked in his native Belgium as an art director in the field of advertising. After retiring, the artist switched to creating photomontages. Photography has become his new passion, where he experiments in creating surreal photomontages. His technique is to combine his usual photographs with illustrations in Photoshop. The result of the author's creative process is wonderful photo collages that look more like a painting than a photograph.
Ben Goossens' paintings have won awards in many prestigious international photography contests, including a silver and gold medal at the Trierenberg Super Circuit, the world's largest annual photo show. His photographs are also actively published in various popular publications, and are also presented in many photo exhibitions.
