Marvelous steel wire and metal sculptures by sculptor Frank Plant are on display in galleries, hanging on walls in living rooms in his clients' homes, and on telephone poles on the streets of Barcelona.
Frank Plant is an American sculptor based in Barcelona. He studied sculpture at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After that, he moved to Amsterdam, where he began working on the creation of his steel drawings. Steel has always been the main material in Plant's work, from which he created his interesting 2D installations and 3D kinetic metal sculptures.
In 1999, Frank Plant moved to Barcelona and diversified the working material he used in his installations. Photos, painted wooden background, light boxes, music have become an integral part of his sculptural shows.
Looking at the wire sculptures by Frank Plant, it is very difficult to determine their true weight. They seem light, airy. Looking at them, it may even seem to the beholder that they are in a weightless state.
Since 2000, Frank Plant has been teaching at the Metafora Tallers de Art Contemporani in Barcelona. His sculptures and installations are featured in private and public collections throughout Europe and North America.

A man is usually in charge of a box, suitcase, bag, or toolbox in a family. However, there are no rules without exception, and such an exception can be called the family of the Scottish artist Polly Verity. The dresses that Leigh Pennebaker creates are very reminiscent of fashion illustrations in the photographs. But in this case, they would hardly stand out among thousands of their own kind. In fact, the stylish and graceful works of our heroine are sculptures made of rigid barbed wire
