The Canadian crane, which the author of the photo "caught on the fly" at Wildwing Lake, in Brighton, Michigan, is the most abundant species of crane. They can be found in sedge meadows, in swampy valleys of rivers and lakes, on agricultural land. The plumage of these birds has various shades of gray, but in many areas in spring and summer, cranes deliberately cover their bodies with pieces of silt rich in iron oxides, which causes the plumage to acquire a red color. One of the most famous paintings by Claude Monet - "Water Lilies", is called a painting in the history of fire. After the landscape was completed, a fire broke out in the artist's studio. Then the cabaret building burned down, where the painting moved. Later, a fire broke out in the house where the Parisian philanthropist Oscar Schmitz lived. And in each case, the painting remained intact. In 1958, "Lilies" found themselves in the New York Museum of Modern Art, and after 4 months there was also a fire here, but this time the painting was also damaged. This mysterious landscape is just admired by the couple in love in the photo.

As a rule, the most interesting, unexpected photographs are obtained by chance, and then no matter how hard you try to repeat them on purpose, it will not work.
