Canadian artist Kristi Malakoff is known for her spatial installations, for which the author painstakingly carves out photographs of thousands of flowers, as well as butterflies, birds and bees.

Christy Malakoff creates new volumetric installations from small cut-out details, gluing images to a wall, a plywood base or attaching them to a thin wire. It is difficult even to imagine what kind of patience the author should have, because first all the elements must be cut out of the photographs, and then for each find their place. Here are just a few numbers: the installation of "The Glade" required 23 thousand paper flowers, "Swarm" consists of 6 thousand paper butterflies, and "Resting Swarm" consists of 21 thousand images of bees.

Most of all, Christie loves to work with paper flowers: installations are the most. Bright and positive, they should definitely please not only adults, but also children.
