Photo by Chris McLennan, "trophy" from China's Guilin province. The fisherman in the photo is looking for food for his family in a very interesting way. With the help of a lantern attached to the raft, he lures the fish, which are then caught by his cormorant assistants. They can be seen behind the fisherman, at a large basket. To prevent birds from swallowing prey, special rings are put on their necks. When there are enough fish, the fishermen remove the rings from the birds and feed them, thanks for their help.
