Real African art. This is the name of the gallery founded by the artist Gathinja Yamokoski, born in Kenya and later moved to the United States. In my gallery TrueAfricanArt An American African woman tries to collect the most interesting works of African artists, not forgetting about her own work. At home, Gathinya received a very good education. So, first she graduated from the Kahuhia Girls High School in Nairobi, and then, under the influence of her mother, who was a home designer of clothes, she went to college, where she also studied design. In addition, the girl had a penchant for painting since childhood, and college opened the doors to the world of art for her.
Having moved to America, Gathinya soon became bored of her native Kenya, and decided that a gallery dedicated to African painting would help her and her talented brothers to realize herself and introduce the world to real African art. This is how TrueAfricanArt was born.
Gathinya Yamokoski herself not only draws pictures in her unique painting style of the "Black Continent", but also decorates bottles, and also creates mixed-media art. All of this can be seen on the True African Art website.
