Polish photographer, traveler and gallery owner Maciej Dakowicz is a big joker. He even presents his own name as "Medzhik", because that's what his Polish friends call him. But he really is a magician. Traveling the world with his camera, he catches amazing moments: bright, funny, touching, sometimes curious.
In fact, Maciej Dakowicz is only a native of Poland, but currently he lives in Mumbai (India).
Maciej was born in 1976 in Bialystok, Poland. After graduation, in 2000, he went to Hong Kong (this was his first flight) for work. He also bought his first camera there to show Asian beauty and exoticism to family and friends.
Through the internet and photo sharing sites, he became so interested in photography that it became his main passion. He took up his camera in earnest and began to travel.
Later, in Wales, having already received his degree, he realized that his love for photography is so strong that he wants to do it professionally. And here's the bottom line: he takes part in various photography projects around the world, organizes and conducts countless photography seminars, participates in all kinds of festivals.
Multi-award winning Maciej Dakowicz is a founding member in Cardiff. He has a staggering number of photographs on the Internet documenting his travels thoroughly with subtle humor and kindness.
And whatever you say - Maciej Dakowicz has a real talent for capturing amazing moments in his photographs, akin to Harold Egerton's mastery of stopping time.
