The whole world is following the political events in Ukraine today, activists are making efforts to ensure that the country finally overcomes the crisis, and calm reigns. Ukrainians willingly hang flags on the windows of their houses, go out to peaceful demonstrations, and sing the anthem. Street artist Kislov also showed patriotic feelings: together with his friend, a French Seth Globepainter, on the facade of one of the high-rise buildings, he painted a portrait of a girl in a national costume.

Talented street art got the name "Renaissance", the artists in an original way expressed their hope that the era of revival will come in Ukraine as soon as possible. The drawing can be seen in Podil, a historical district of the city, located at the foot of the Kiev hills on the banks of the Dnieper. Kislov and Seth Globpeinter spent a week working on this impressive image.

In the picture, you can see a god-like girl who carefully embraces Kiev with her hand, as if trying to protect it from destruction. A boy is sitting in her palm, a symbol of the fact that children in Ukraine still will not see the war, even though this threat is hanging over the country today. The artists sincerely hope for a successful resolution of all existing conflicts.

The image of the Ukrainian woman drawn by them is thought out to the smallest detail. She has a wreath decorated with flowers on her head. This is an obligatory element of the national women's costume. The authors, following tradition, draw yellow and blue ribbons on it, symbolizing the sun and sky. The girl is dressed in an embroidered shirt, and on top of her is a dark green rough jacket, such as the Ukrainians wore this winter on Independence Square. Obviously, in this image, the artists managed to combine history and modernity, the past of the Ukrainians and their present. The bright image of a child in the arms of the Ukrainian Bereginia is also a symbol of the young, still immature Ukrainian people, which will surely find their way to a brighter future.
