The British Library has published in the public domain the work of a well-known figure of the Enlightenment, Leonardo da Vinci, entitled The Code of Arundel. The manuscript was digitized and posted online. Anyone can view it on the official library resource. Leonardo's handwriting is 570 pages long. The entries in this document date from 1480-1518.

The great man's manuscript contains treatises on a variety of topics. Among them are the very voluminous works of Leonardo on geometry and mechanics. As a result, on the pages of the book, the reader can see a lot of sketches, sketches, drawings, diagrams and diagrams concerning the research, tasks and inventions of the master.

It is worth explaining that today the "Arundel Code" is considered the second most important work of Leonardo da Vinci. The first place is occupied by the work entitled "Atlantic Code". At the same time, the Leicester Code became the first digitized work of the master. The book became available in digital format back in 2007. This was done as part of a joint project between the British Library and Microsoft. The initiative was called Turning the Pages.

Recall that Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most prominent Italian figures of the Renaissance. He is known as an artist, sculptor, architect, anatomist and natural scientist, writer, musician and of course an inventor.
