This time the Medal of the Order of the First Degree "For Services to the Fatherland" was awarded to Tugan Sokhiev, who holds the position of musical director and chief conductor at the Bolshoi Theater. The Minister of Culture presented the same award to Anatoly Shenderov, who in the "Earthlings" group holds the position of concert director, to actor Nikolai Fomenko and director Valery Todorovsky. Dmitry Bak, director of the Museum of the History of Literature. Dahl, became the owner of the medal of the order of the second degree "For Services to the Fatherland."
A large number of celebrities this year were awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation". pianist Ekaterina Mechetina, ballet dancer Anna Nikulina, actors Svetlana Khodchenkova, Daria Moroz, Viktor Dobronravov, Yulia Peresild, Andrei Merzlikin and Dmitry Dyuzhev earned this title.
Zurab Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Evgeny Grishkovets, an artist from the School of Modern Play theater, and Vsevolod Shilovsky, an actor of theater and cinema, were awarded the badges "For Contribution to Russian Culture" at the solemn event.
