Burning Man Festival is one of the most unusual, but also the largest art events in the world! This is not just an open-air exhibition of contemporary alternative art, it is a whole world, creatively reinterpreted by its participants, which exists for only a few days in the Black Rock Desert in the American state of Nevada.
Here, within the framework of the Burning Man 2012 festival, the installation Starlight appeared, which made the night sky closer than ever to the inhabitants of the Earth!
The installation Starlight, created by artists Erich Remash, Jeremy Berglund, Don Peterson and Chad Ingle, consists of seven four-meter stars spaced in the desert at a fairly large distance from each other in this way so that when viewed from a bird's eye view, they resemble the constellation Orion, one of the brightest constellations of the night sky in the Northern Hemisphere of the Earth.
At night, these artificial stars light up with LED lighting, creating an amazing atmosphere at the Burning Man festival site, the feeling of the night sky falling to Earth, or at least its image is being displayed from a huge non-existent mirror installed on our planet!
