Man, space, microcosm, universe, transcendental and otherworldly, mysterious and unknown - the main themes of digital paintings by two independent artists from the Madrid art studio NastPlas … Under this name are hiding Natalia Molinos and Drfranken (Fran R. Learte), who are called "digital alchemists", because their works are mesmerizing, at the same time repelling with their "blackness" and attracting with the mystery that permeates every stroke, every detail of the works. Each work of the art duo is a joint work that begins with an image, and then finds its embodiment in an illustration. The authors admit that music helps them to create and create the appropriate mood, each time different, but certainly one that makes you think and immerse yourself in order to find answers to philosophical questions about the meaning of life and about the role of a person in society. Obviously, the search for answers always turns out to be successful, because in the 6 years that the NastPlas art studio has existed, they managed to work with large advertising agencies and popular magazines not only in Spain, but also in London, the USA, France, Uruguay and on the territory of many other states.
Surprisingly, the NastPlas art studio is just a hobby, a passion for both members of the small team. An amateur artist Natalia Molinos is a designer and decorator by training, and Drfranken became seriously interested in digital painting only after receiving a programmer diploma. However, they had a craving for painting since childhood, and this creative energy found its application in a joint brainchild called NastPlas. As independent artists, Natalia Molinos and Drfranken nevertheless skillfully combine their efforts to create complex, deep and sophisticated works of art that carry a high emotional charge, leaving no one indifferent who has happened to see these works "live" at least once.
The work of the art duo Natalia Molinos and Drfranken can be found on the website of the Nastplas studio.
