This artist and fashion designer creates stunningly beautiful stoles inspired by nature itself. She uses exclusively natural materials, and creates prints for future products by hand with great attention to detail.

Roza Khamitova was born in Kazakhstan in a family of artists. It turned out that her creative talent became cramped in her native Alma-Ata, and Rosa left for the States. After graduating from Manhattan School of Design, she worked in the fashion industry for eight years. Now her life is endless creativity (Rose makes stoles of amazing beauty) and frequent travels, from where the artist brings inspiration every time.

During this time Khamitova managed to work for DKNY, David Bitton and SkechersHowever, not impressed by big names, she followed her ambitions by deciding to create her own clothing line. “Feeling that other women, too, were tired of the typical things that so-called corporate fashion is replete with, I began combing thrift stores for men's oversized T-shirts, which I then planned to convert into women's tops. When I found what I needed, I began to paint and reshape things, turning them into a truly unique “wearable” art."

“I am an observer,” says Khamitova, “I can be inspired by the wings of a butterfly or a drawing of the cellular structure of a leaf. The inspiration can be a bird's feather or a crow sitting on a tree branch."

Work on stoles takes place in several stages. First, the artist creates a sketch of the future pattern with a simple pencil, and then, using watercolors or ink, adds color and detail. It then scans the image and, if necessary, corrects the colors. The finished design is transferred to the fabric using digital printing.
