American artist Morgan Loebel during the day he works as a dental technician in dentistry, and in the evenings he turns polymer clay into extremely realistic monsters. From the hands of a talented author, monstrous decorations and interior items come out in the form of bared mouths, torn out entrails, eyeballs and severed limbs. The profession, to which the artist has devoted more than 20 years of his life, definitely leaves an imprint on his work, so that he supplies not only the mouths, but also other parts of the bodies of his terrible monsters with teeth, fangs and teeth. The creator of "toothy" decorations and interior items calls himself Morgans mutations, and their harsh characters, which seem to be borrowed from the works of Stephen King, Alfred Hitchcock and Roman Polanski, "Morgan mutations". As you can see, in the skillful hands of talented artists, polymer clay turns not only into sweet jewelry, but also into something that it is better not to show to children under 16.
It is curious that Loebel began working with Morga clay in 2012, but over 20 years of practice in dentistry, he managed to mold tens of thousands of dental crowns, bridges and jaws. So it's no wonder why Morgan's mutations are so realistic, alive, and therefore creepy. By the way, his teeth clatter not only pendants, rings and belt buckles, but also decorative switches, pens, pencil holders, business card boxes, photo frames, lamps, boxes, doorknobs … In general, everything that you can touch … If it won't be scary.
Morgan Loebel says that he gravitated towards strange art all his adult life, and the first thing he created, mastering the work with polymer clay, was a strange wrinkled creature, studded with teeth and eyeballs. Over time, the artist's works began to acquire realistic features, but did not become less scary.
And while other artists have fun creating figures from comics, Morgan continues to improve his "toothy" creativity.. Not so long ago, he opened his online store, where all these creepy creations find their new owners and mistresses.
