Nuclear energy policy has long frightened environmentalists around the world. Greenpeace activists (Greanpeace) held an action in Zurich against the construction of another nuclear power plant, this time in the form of a flash mob, in which almost half of the population of the Swiss city took part.

Thousands of environmental activists mingled with the common people of Zurich to simultaneously collapse to the ground at noon in the middle of the working day, pretending to be dead. Thus, they portrayed the victims of a possible nuclear disaster.

The flash mob witnesses almost fainted from fear and panic at the sight of hundreds of people who had collapsed at the same time. Greenpeace's massive action against nuclear energy received a powerful global response.

In the video, in addition to the falls of people, the operators showed the reaction of the witnesses of the action. Frightened townspeople in hysterics tried to help the "dead", terrified.

The Zurich police were not enthusiastic about the Greenpeace idea. Law enforcement authorities considered it unacceptable to shock the townsfolk so much. But Greenpeace activists are pleased with this reaction. In the opinion of nature conservationists, the shock of the townspeople is nothing compared to the possible consequences of the construction of new nuclear power plants.
