The American National Park Zion (or, as the Americans say, Zion), stretching around the great canyon of the same name, is one of the most convenient … subway pads … After all, it already has a ready-made underground tunnel of almost perfect shape. And, perhaps, if it was really arranged in it underground metro, then it would be the most beautiful in the world - after all, nature built it.

We have already talked about how they like to decorate underground stations, for example, in the Stockholm metro. And in the Zion National Park, which is located in the state of Utah in the western United States, there is no need to decorate the stations: nature itself did it. The faithful friend of nature, water, broke through a long tunnel in the rocky rock - and left "windows" from above, through which the sun's rays make their way. Cold water flows along the bottom of the tunnel, reflecting glare and sunbeams, and thanks to the light, multi-colored algae grow in it. Together it turns out to be real underground temple with a mysterious play of light and shadow, streams, whirlpools, autumn leaves and even trees brought into the tunnel.

The Zion "metro" is one of the most favorite tourist attractions in the national park. Perhaps, in this incredibly picturesque place, it would be worth filming some kind of film.
