Once a year, a stick shoots, and the skeleton in the closet blooms. Dutch sculptor Cedric Lakiz gives a second life to strange animals by hiding naked bones under white and pink buds. Unusual works assert the triumph of life over death and the inability to hide the ugly under the beautiful.
Strange animal lover Cedric Laquieze lives in Amsterdam. He graduated from the university last year and is now fully devoted to his beloved work. The sculptor's interest in organic materials and contrasting compositions is shared by visitors to his exhibitions in Holland, Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.
From cat and dog skeletons, decorated with artificial flowers, strange animals are obtained - sculptures on the border of living and inanimate nature. It's funny that in this case, living nature is represented by a dead skeleton, and inanimate - flowering garlands. Cédric Lakiz's designs celebrate the triumph of artificial life.

A spiral of skeletons, a bound woman and other ancient burials that seem strange
It just so happened in history that after the death of a person, a funeral rite was expected. Collection of skeletons of animals and birds from wood "Fragile Skeletons"

Italian artist Giovanni Longo decided to make life easier for biologists by creating a collection of skeletons of animals and birds from wood. Moreover, the exhibits look as if they were recently dug up by archaeologists. The artist tries to age the wood as much as possible, giving it the texture of real bones with cracks and scratches from the shovels of scientists
