Video: Erik Natzke's Imaginarium

Renowned designer and artist Erik Natzke creates stunning new digital art using the renowned Adobe Flash Player software.
With deep knowledge of programming and an insightful talent for design, Natzke strives to blur the clear line between art and modern technology. Sometimes he takes ordinary photographs or videos as the basis for his work. But more often his own imagination is capable of more. Sunrise, sunset, people passing by, color - then we see all this in his paintings.
Feeling subtly the line that can be crossed without losing the interest of the audience, Erik still risks being unappreciated. Believing in his success, but at the same time ready to fail, he is stubborn and not going to give up. Sometimes in his works Natzke still oversteps the boundaries of what is permissible, but his fans are ready to forgive him.
He is unique. His work is a bridge between impressionism and expressionism. His impressionism is that he moves the emphasis from the object to the color of the image, while Natzke the expressionist tries to clothe dynamics in any form. When he depicts nature, the impressionist wakes up in him, and the expressionist tends to abstraction.
Many of his works were inspired by the work of Van Gogh, and in one of his interviews Natzke admitted that his future wife Tobey is his muse. Imagination, a desire for adventure and a desire to surprise as well as a desire to entertain are all the driving forces in his work. His latest works Natzke are dominated by abstract images and bright colors.
