Japanese architecture company Hironaka Ogawa & Associates decided to bring a purely "natural" note to the modern residential interior. The decision was born by chance: in the course of working out the project on the dignity of the house, they decided not to cut trees that occupied the "wrong" place, but organically fit them into the new environment.

It was originally planned that during the expansion of a house in the Japanese city of Kagawa, the camphor tree and zelkwa growing next to it would be cut down. For designers from the bureau Hironaka ogawa a bold idea came to mind: they left trees in their places and built a room around them, organically combining modern design with woody silhouettes.

In many ways, the designers' decision was influenced by the stories of the current owner of the house - it used to belong to the parents of a girl who now lives here with her husband. Her stories about how she played around these trees and climbed on them, being very young, melted the hearts of designers who did not dare to cut down camphor and zelkova, but chose to take a rather extravagant step.

Regular readers of Kulturologia.ru are no strangers to examples of the most extravagant interior design: just remember such art projects as the train that became the Palace of Versailles, and Wrapped in Plastic from the studio Penique Productions … In project Hironaka Ogawa & Associates practical convenience and artistically subtle solution are elegantly combined; the environmental message is a pleasant bonus.
