In 2021, the Harry Potter film franchise will have an anniversary: exactly 20 years ago, the first film about a boy who survived was released. During this time, hundreds of actors took part in the project. Thanks to Potteriana, some young talents received a ticket to the world of big cinema, others remained actors of the same role. In this review, a story about what happened to the most popular heroes over the past two decades.

Of the three young actors who played the main characters, only Daniel Radcliffe had experience in front of cameras - in 1999 he appeared on the screens in the BBC television movie "David Copperfield", and in the same year screened for the role of Harry Potter. The future Hermione - Emma Watson - before screening only participated in school productions, and Rupert Grint (Ron), when he found out about the casting, composed a rap song about how he wants to appear in the film, after which he was invited to audition.
Today, of the famous trinity, only Rupert cannot boast of a solid acting career. He regularly appears in new films, but he has not yet managed to get significant roles. But he was the only one who built a personal life. For ten years Grint has been loyal to one woman, and although the couple did not formally formalize the relationship, in May 2020 they had a daughter.
Daniel Radcliffe is focused on work - every year he participates in 2-3 films, still manages to play in the theater, write poetry and fight for gay rights (although the actor himself has not been seen in unconventional relationships). But his friend on the set, Emma Watson, has managed in recent years to arrange a real leapfrog in relationships, causing a wave of gossip about herself and Prince Harry in 2015, build a career as a model, star in several high-profile film projects and become an active participant in the struggle for women's rights. True, the acting talent of both Potterian stars is often the subject of discussion, but despite the vicious attacks, both are undoubtedly in-demand actors today.

The actor, who played the main antagonist in the film, came to audition with a solid baggage of successful film works: before the age of 13, he managed to star in four films (for example, he played the role of the main character's son in the film "Anna and the King" with Jodie Foster). The boy also showed great promise as a musician - as a child, Tom sang in four choirs at once. Another hobby of the actor is fishing, and in 2006 he even wanted to make it his life's work (he almost entered the university at the faculty of "fish business"), but nevertheless decided to remain a creative person.
In 2008, Felton presented his first album, trying his hand as a musician. I must say that today this young man among the connoisseurs of the Harry Potter universe has almost more fans than the main character, but in Tom's personal life, not everything is going well. On the set of the last film, he met Jade Gordon, she played the wife of the grown-up Draco in the final scene. For several years, young people did not hide their romantic relationship, until in 2016 they unexpectedly parted. Tom Felton continues to appear regularly, although he does not consider this the main business of his life.

But this boy is now difficult to recognize. From an awkward, plump teenager, he turned into a fit young man. By the way, during the filming of Matthew, under an agreement with the film company, it was even forbidden to straighten the bite (teeth protruding slightly forward). After filming, he quickly put himself in order and pumped up his muscles, so that he even began to appear in underwear for glossy magazines. In the cinema, by the way, he also continues to appear.

For the sake of filming, the twins dyed themselves red and lightened their eyebrows. Now they have returned to their normal appearance and are active participants in themed and fan events of the Potteriana, although they did not continue their film career. Young people are fond of sports and rock music. Both twins are married, Oliver became a father in 2016.

Bosom friends in the script and Draco Malfoy's singers have taken very different paths in life. Jamie Waylett was expelled from the project and did not take part in the filming of the last seventh part, as he went to prison. Participating in civil unrest and growing cannabis at home cost him two years of freedom, so the former Slytherin really turned out to be the "bad guy."
But his filming partner, Joshua Herdman, did not break the law, although he chose a not too calm occupation - the guy found himself in mixed martial arts (MMA). He performs in welterweight and has achieved some success. In his personal life, everything is fine, Joshua is married and has a son.
