If two people are brought to the doorstep of the registry office by feelings, then they, quite naturally, dream of a long and happy life together. All too often, however, marriages are so hasty that spouses can hardly endure several months of coexistence. And among celebrities, there have been cases when the marriage broke up just a few days after the official registration of the marriage.
Maya Plisetskaya and Maris Liepa
Maya Plisetskaya and Maris Liepa met during the days of Latvian art in Moscow. Soon after the famous ballerina saw Maris on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, they began joint rehearsals of Swan Lake. When the Bolshoi troupe was to go on tour to Budapest, Plisetskaya decided that she would dance with Liepa abroad.
She was fascinated by the talented dancer. The ballerina admired everything in him that annoyed her colleagues: the Baltic accent, incredible ability to work and dedication. When the Ministry of Culture refused to approve the candidacy of Maris Liepa, Plisetskaya immediately resolutely took her lover's hand and took him to the registry office. After receiving the coveted stamp in the passport, they also gave permission to leave the married couple in Budapest.
True, this hasty marriage disintegrated very quickly. The romance that broke out so quickly between the partners on the stage, just as quickly faded away. Officially, they divorced three months later, and Maris himself said that their family lasted only a week. Two strong and talented people could not get along on the same territory. However, the divorce has never prevented them from performing the parts of lovers with inspiration. Maris Liepa always spoke of Maya Plisetskaya with delight. And for a very long time only a limited circle of people knew about their marriage and subsequent divorce.

Igor Matvienko and Dzhuna Davitashvili
Ironically, this marriage, which lasted only 24 hours, was the first for the composer Igor Matvienko and the last for the legendary healer Juna. There was no romantic relationship between the spouses and not even a hint of mutual sympathy.
Just one evening, when another creative party gathered in Juna's house, the healer quarreled with her brother. And to spite him she decided to get married. At the same time, Igor Nikolaev made an offer to her, but she herself chose Matvienko. Juna at that moment was driven by the desire to get married in spite of his brother, and Igor Matvienko was motivated by the desire to make a successful career thanks to the connections and influence of the newly-made wife. True, the healer herself very quickly corrected the mistake by filing for divorce the very next day after the wedding.

Valeria Gai Germanika and Vadim Lyubushkin
The director and the dancer met at the Dancing with the Stars project. Despite the fact that they did not work as a couple, the romance between them was bright, impetuous and passionate. Valeria Gai Germanika and Vadim Lyubushkin became husband and wife in July 2015, and already in January a divorce was filed.
As the main reason for the collapse of the family of Valery, Gai Germanicus called the absence of any support from the spouse and his endless lies, even in small things. Despite the fact that Valeria was pregnant during the divorce, the prospect of raising two children on her own did not scare her at all. The actress and director herself called her divorce happiness and liberation.
Natalia Vetlitskaya and Evgeny Belousov
They had known each other for a long time, crossing over at different events, but during the filming of the New Year's light, a spark ran between the two performers. Perhaps it was the large amount of cognac that Natalya Vetlitskaya and Evgeny Belousov drank after filming without any measure. But soon Belousov called his producer with a message about his marriage to Vetlitskaya.
And after 10 days, returning from the tour, he found a note at home from his young wife, in which she told her husband about her new love. Later, the singer said more than once: this marriage was something of a joke for her. However, friends and acquaintances of Evgeny Belousov spoke about the very painful attitude of the performer to Natalia's act. He sincerely experienced the betrayal of his young wife and for several years could not even think about a serious relationship with another woman.
Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and Olaf Schwarzkopf
The beautiful nanny first married a German businessman and, according to her husband, was initially happy. Olaf Anastasia seemed like a real Turgenev young lady, fragile and defenseless. And he, completely enchanted, was ready to throw the whole world at the feet of his beloved. After their marriage, not even a year had passed, and the marriage cracked at all the seams.
They did not glue the broken plate, they filed for divorce. It was only later that Olaf learned a lot about himself. Zavorotnyuk accused her ex-husband of assault, bullying and almost all mortal sins. Many years later, Olaf Schwarzkopf broke his vow of silence and tried to justify himself. According to him, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk became disillusioned with him after she realized that he did not have untold wealth and family castles.
Hardly anyone now even remembers that Anastasia Vertinskaya was married to Nikita Mikhalkov, Vladimir Etush was married to Ninel Myshkova, and the marriage of Oleg Dal and Nina Doroshina lasted only a few days. In our review, there are 16 more early and short marriages of Soviet celebrities.

Because of what one year only lasted 445 days and other interesting facts about the calendar
Most of the world has been calculating time for four centuries using a calendar called the Gregorian. The year of this calendar is divided into 12 months and lasts 365 days. One additional day is added every four years. Such a year is called a leap year. This is necessary in order to remove the difference between the movement of the sun and the calendar. This concept was introduced in the late 16th century by Pope Gregory XIII as a reform of the Julian calendar. The Gregorian calendar is generally accepted because
Marlene Dietrich and Ernest Hemingway: more than friendship, less than love
The boundaries beyond which friendship between a man and a woman ends and something more begins is very difficult to define. Especially when it comes to creative individuals. Ernest Hemingway called his relationship with Marlene Dietrich "unsynchronized passion": he woke up feelings when she was not free, and vice versa. Their romance lasted almost 30 years - perhaps so long precisely because it remained epistolary (now they would say - virtual). But there was so much passion in these letters that
"Bulldozer Art": Truth and Myths about the Exhibition of Nonconformists, which lasted no more than a minute
The attitude of the Soviet government to contemporary art was not always negative. Suffice it to recall that in the first years after the revolution, the art of the avant-garde was almost state officialdom. Its representatives, such as the artist Malevich or the architect Melnikov, became famous all over the world and at the same time were welcomed in their homeland. However, soon in the country of victorious socialism, advanced art ceased to fit into the party ideology. A symbol of confrontation between the authorities and artists in the CCC
