Scotland is an amazing country with entertainment for all tastes. Picturesque nature, beautiful architecture, rich history and vibrant culture - there are a lot of reasons for tourists to come here. And in order to quickly decide on a trip, it is enough to see a series of photographs depicting … funny ponies … These animals have recently been considered the hallmark of Scotland.
The fondness of the National Council of the country for these cute animals is not accidental: Scotland has long been famous for breeding ponies. As you know, Shetland ponies are famous for their endurance and strength. In the project of photographer Rob McDougall, mini-horses are captured against the backdrop of Scottish nature in wonderful outfits - sweaters with characteristic patterns. Apparently, the ponies of Thebla and Vitamin feel like real stars, not at all embarrassed to pose for the camera. But with such models, the advertising campaign is simply doomed to attract as many tourists as possible.
Visit Scotland states that Thebla and Vitamin will become true symbols of Scotland in 2013. It is assumed that the images of these animals will symbolize the organic unity of nature and art, traditional crafts and modern textiles. By the way, the local craftswoman Doreen Brown knitted funny woolen sweaters for four-legged models.
By the way, this is not the first time that ponies have become symbols of modern culture. The images of these animals were used by the Finnish artist Mari Kasurinen when she worked on the Baby Pony doll series.
