The famous rock musician, the leader of the legendary band "King and Jester" himself spoke about his addiction during an interview given to Ilya Stogov for the book "Sinners". "Pot," as everyone called him, became addicted to drugs in the early 1990s. Having married for the first time, he began to use with his wife. And he confessed: those seven years were the worst in all the time of his life. Then his life was constantly hanging by a thread, because he and his wife literally miraculously did not kill each other in a drug frenzy.

Later, the musician was treated, but he could not get rid of the addiction to the end. He passed away on July 19, 2013. The heart stopped, unable to withstand the next horse dose of alcohol and drugs.

Alexander Medvedev (Shura)

The musician once admitted in an interview that he had been using serious drugs for three years. For an outrageous singer, the desire to try drugs just because many of the musical crowd use them seems simply unrealistic. Shura held out for a while, but then realized that the desire to try cocaine was stronger than him. Fortunately, after rehabilitation in a good clinic, the performer never returned to drugs.

The drug problem was also acute in Soviet times, though not on such a scale as it is today. Among children from wealthy families, drugs were considered something of a sign of bohemia, however, the realization of the danger lurking in them sometimes came too late.
