Not many film actors, who played only a few roles in cinema, managed to leave their bright mark in the art of cinema and be remembered by the domestic audience for many years. However, charming and infectious actor Semyon Morozov with a charismatic, bright appearance - it was more than successful. He was remembered by the viewer, first of all, for the films "Seven Nurses" (1962) and "Seven Brides of Corporal Zbruev" (1970), which became classics of Soviet cinema. More than half a century has passed since their creation, but to this day they cause a kind smile and genuine interest in the audience. How the creative and personal fate of the blue-eyed enviable groom of the Soviet Union developed, further - in our publication.

In fact, there were about five dozen roles played by the artist Morozov in the cinema. But the viewer remembered several films that were included in the treasury of Russian cinema in the second half of the last century. A bright and expressive character, blue-eyed blond, in his youth, won the hearts of the multimillion-dollar public of the Soviet Union, especially women who were literally fascinated by the charm of a young and energetic actor.

Turning the pages of a biography

Semyon Morozov was born in the summer of 1946 in Moscow, into a large large family that lived in one of the disadvantaged areas of the capital. This factor left its mark on the character of the boy, who from early childhood learned to defend his place in the sun with his fists. By the age of 11, the boy knew how to box well and could always stand up for himself. Of course, this behavior of the son gave a lot of trouble to his parents.

Looking back from the height of his past years, Semyon Mikhailovich Morozov admits that he never even dreamed of becoming an actor. The acting profession chose him herself. As a boy with a mathematical mindset, he saw himself as a boxer or, at worst, a firefighter, but not an actor.

The cinematic story of Semyon Morozov began one spring day in 1957. Once, during one of the fascinating boyish games, little Senka was noticed by the director's assistant Tatyana Lyzhina, who was looking for a candidate for the role of Valka in the movie "On the ruins of the counts" in the Moscow gateways. Seeing a group of boys playing "knives" she loudly announced: who, they say, from those present wants to act in a movie. The assistant was immediately surrounded by a crowd of guys. Everyone was curious to know what that meant. Indeed, in the postwar years, barefoot children from a disadvantaged area knew little about cinema. However, they intuitively struggled to please the "movie aunt."

However, the woman's attention was attracted by a blond boy who did not budge and continued to play - he had to win this time by all means. Otherwise, having lost, he would again have to pull the matches out of the sand with his teeth. (This was the playing field for the losers.) Apparently, therefore, when the assistant touched his shoulder, he literally hissed: "Get your hands off, granny!" And when the woman said that she was going to get acquainted with the parents of the tomboy, he immediately realized that it smelled fried. Senka began tearfully begging "auntie" and saying that it wouldn’t be like this anymore. The young hooligan had extensive experience in this matter, since Senka Morozov often and densely became the hero of various scandals, and the tomboy often had to twist and twist. However, the "aunt from the movie" was determined. And not because the boy was rude to her, but because he seemed to her a suitable candidate for the role.

The frightened mother of Semyon, with grief in half, gave her consent to the shooting, but immediately warned about the complex nature of her son and even expressed fear that he might burn down the film studio, since he used to have a passion for pampering with fire. Of course, Senka did not burn the studio, although he was incredibly upset when he heard that he had not passed the audition. And everything happened due to the fact that when he got on the set under the powerful light of the spotlights, he pronounced his text with his eyes almost closed, and when he tried to open them, tears rolled in a stream. Alas, such is the cost of the profession of an actor, who is literally blinded by light so that he looks great in the frame.

So, our hero, when he heard that he was not suitable for the role, threw an incredible tantrum with tears and screams in the face of the director that he would still act in films. And already near the exit from the studio, another director of the film caught up with the mother with a crying Semyon and said that if the boy was so determined, then everything would work out for him. As a result, 11-year-old Semka learned not to pay attention to the dazzling spotlights, and the shooting of the film was successfully completed. And the young star of Semyon Morozov shone brightly in the sky of Russian cinema. By the way, according to the actor Semyon Morozov himself, he experienced fear of the spotlights for almost his entire creative life.

Despite the success of the film "On the ruins of the counts", the directors were in no hurry to invite Semyon Morozov to the shooting. In the next five years, he starred only in the short film "Last Summer" (role - Grisha) and played a small role of Samoil Petelkin's son in the film "Bread and Roses" directed by Fyodor Filippov. Perhaps they would not have remembered him anymore, if not for her majesty - fate.

The next successful work of the 16-year-old schoolboy Semyon Morozov was the role of Afanasy Polosukhin in the star comedy "Seven Nurses" by Rolan Bykov, in which Semyon managed to displace Nikita Mikhalkov and Valery Ryzhakov, who were also novice artists. All three at that time had minimal experience in cinema. However, unexpectedly, the artistic council took the side of Semyon Morozov - they found his test the most convincing. And then the complex relationship between the young actor and the director Bykov began to take shape, who had never seen Semyon in this role. But since the film was the debut in the career of Roland Antonovich as a director, he could in no way change the decision of the commission that approved the candidates for the roles. All he could do was obey. The shooting was very difficult, Bykov with all his appearance showed his dislike for Morozov. Every day the atmosphere grew tense and, finally, resulted in a grandiose scandal.

After another unsuccessful take, Bykov literally dragged Semyon aside and uttered all sorts of unpleasant barbs to him, and finally pushed Morozov in the chest. Of course, our hero, who had seven years of boxing training, could not endure such harshness, let alone assault. He pushed the director in the forehead so that he flew off three meters and fell to the floor. Senka grabbed a pickaxe and literally rushed at Bykov. However, he jumped to his feet with lightning speed and shouted: Morozov, taken aback, just nodded and went to the set. The episode was filmed, where Semyon was tightly gripping a pickaxe in his hand. Later Rolan Bykov scolded the assistants, who did not think of it before making a double, to snatch the pick from Semyon's hands. The episode had to be reshomed. But after that day, the relationship between the actor and the director changed dramatically for the better.

The film about a difficult teenager was successfully filmed and in 1962, it attracted 26 million viewers from the screens, hitting the top ten best films of the year. Rolan Bykov took place as a director, the comedy was dismantled into quotes, and for the Moscow young actor Semyon Morozov, the doors to Soviet cinema were thrown wide open.

In 1965, after graduating from school, our hero had no choice but to take the documents to VGIK. He was enrolled in the course of Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova. And four years later, after leaving there as a certified actor, he was enrolled in the staff of the Theater-Studio of the film actor. The artist's cinematic biography continued during his student years. In the 1960s, films with his participation "Tatiana's Day" and "Accused of Murder" were released on the screens of the country.

Comedy film "Seven Brides of Corporal Zbruev" - Semyon Morozov's visiting card

It so happened that the peak of Semyon Mikhailovich's acting career came in the 1960s and 70s, it was at that time that he starred in stunning, famous all over the country films - "Seven Brides of Corporal Zbruev" (1970) and "Allow Takeoff" (1971), where he brilliantly showed himself in the main roles.

Recall, "The Seven Brides of Corporal Zbruev" is a comedy story about how a handsome naive soldier with Napoleonic plans and youthful maximalism Kostya, after being retired, goes on a voyage around the country in search of the most beautiful bride. He has seven photos, seven addresses, and a great desire to find the very one. The guy, although naive, is quite rational. You yourself understand what happens when you chase two, as they say, hares. And then there are already seven of them … The film turned out to be bright, colorful and funny. It is hard to believe that exactly half a century has passed since the day of its creation.

And if someone has not seen this comedy, be sure to pay your attention to it. Look at the everyday life of the 60s, at the first beauties of cinema in their youth, at the picturesque expanses of the once immense Soviet Union. Laugh heartily, sympathize with the main character. And finally, find out which of the seven beauties he "got" as a bride. Recall that the roles of brides were starred by the stars of Russian cinema - Natalya Varley, Elena Solovey, Marianna Vertinskaya. And also Leonid Kuravlev as a clergyman.

At the box office in 1971, "Seven Brides of Corporal Zbruev" took 11th place, collecting 31.2 million viewers. And the role of corporal Kostya Zbruev has since become a visiting card of the actor, leaving, to some extent, a negative imprint on the further acting fate of Semyon Morozov. The directors did not offer the artist characteristic roles, but preferred to exploit the well-found image of a simple, ingenuous, charming guy. Nobody dared to take a chance and use the actor in a different role. After the dizzying success of the comedy "Seven Brides …" Semyon Morozov starred in the lead role in the film "Allow Takeoff" together with Anatoly Papanov himself, which was also a great success at the box office.

In 1972, our hero had to serve in the Taman division as a private. And already six months after the call, he was sent to Moscow with the assignment to take the artist Papanov to the fiftieth anniversary of the gift - a portrait in the form of a wolf. A conscript soldier Semyon Morozov did not even suspect what a tremendous chance fate was preparing for him. When Semyon arrived at the Satire Theater, where Anatoly Dmitrievich served, the main director Valentin Pluchek himself suggested Morozov to join his theater. Here it is, one hundred percent chance!

However, the fly in the ointment was not long in coming. A little-known young actor immediately approached Morozov and whispered sarcastically in his ear:. Caustic words literally cut into the consciousness of Semyon. Therefore, having demobilized, he did not dare to accept Pluchek's tempting offer, which he regrets to this day.

And then, it seemed, he was destined for an enviable acting fate, films with his participation came out one after another: "Front without flanks", "Three days in Moscow", "In the old rhythms."But they no longer had a share of the success that accompanied the actor at the beginning of his creative career. And then the actor completely disappeared from the screens. And not because the directors forgot about Morozov - there were a lot of proposals … But all the proposed roles were the same - the actor was offered to play the same "good guy".

And more and more often the thought flashed in the actor's head to move from the acting profession to directing. One case served as the impetus for drastic measures. Morozov's first wife, Marina Lobysheva-Ganchuk, also an actress, was once removed from the role without explaining the reasons. The woman could not come to her senses for a long time. Impulsive Semyon Morozov immediately promised his beloved that he would become a director and would shoot her in each of his films. No sooner said than done. As a result, in 1979, Semyon Mikhailovich also received a diploma from the directing department, where he studied the craft from Georgy Danelia himself. However, somehow it did not work out with his wife - they, having lived under the same roof for seven years, parted.

But the director's diploma helped Semyon a lot in the 90s, when a lull in the film industry derailed the careers of many actors. Having shot the only full-length film "The Incident in Utinoozersk", he did not fight for survival in the field of adult cinema. In the early nineties, by the will of fate, Semyon Morozov entered the children's newsreel "Yeralash" and stayed there forever. Since 1990 he has been a director, screenwriter and actor of the Yeralash children's humorous newsreel. At the time of 2017, he has directed 95 stories, wrote 18 stories as a screenwriter. His methods of working with young actors, whom the director films in his stories, are legendary.

Personal life of the actor

While still a student at VGIK, Morozov married fellow student Marina Lobysheva-Ganchuk. In the third year of training, feelings suddenly flared up between the young actors. Hastily played a wedding, and after living together for seven years, divorced in 1976. According to the actor himself, his wife was an angel, but he cheated on her, and the marriage broke up.

Semyon Mikhailovich's second betrothed was Svetlana Serova, make-up artist at the Mosfilm film studio, whom he met during the filming of The Fifth Season of the Year (1978). In this marriage, the couple had a son, Mikhail. When the son was 5 years old, the couple broke up. This time Svetlana turned out to be unfaithful to her husband. The actor tried to maintain a relationship with his son for some time, but each time it became more difficult. “We got divorced, and Misha wanted us to be there anyway. But his wife was against it and did everything so that I could not see him often,” Morozov admitted.

For the third time, Morozov married in 1989 to Svetlana Rodicheva, the daughter of documentary filmmaker Dmitry Rodichev. He met when she was only 16 years old. When they first met, they developed a mutual dislike. And only after a few years did feelings appear. The girl, who was 16 years younger than the chosen one, was looked after by Maxim Dunaevsky and Vladimir Vysotsky. However, she chose Semyon Morozov. Their marriage was preceded by seven years of informal relationships.

In their happy marriage, a dearly beloved daughter was born - Nadya, whom the actor adored to unconsciousness. He devoted all his free time and unspent fatherly love to her. Now Nadezhda Morozova is a producer of an advertising agency. As a child, she starred in Yeralash, studied at VGIK at the faculty of multimedia directing.

Defeating Cancer

In 2008, Morozov was diagnosed with throat cancer. Moreover, quite by accident and already at the third stage. It all started with the banal. Oncology developed after a small fishbone bit into the actor's amygdala., - after a while the actor told.

Fortunately, he was lucky., - explained Morozov. Doctors saved Semyon Mikhailovich, and now he is completely healthy. Of course, this was preceded by a very long rehabilitation. Having conquered the illness, Morozov established a relationship with his son, a sense of guilt before which did not give him rest all his life.

Next year Semyon Mikhailovich will celebrate his 75th anniversary. And we can only wish new creative achievements both in the field of directing and in acting.
