One of the best comedians of Soviet cinema Elizaveta Nikishchina did not get the main roles in the cinema, and in the theater times of overwhelming success alternated with years of complete oblivion. But even in episodes, she knew how to be unsurpassed: her phrase "High, high relationships!" from film "Pokrovskie gates" is still often quoted. But the talented actress could not cope with the main trouble, because of which she missed one chance after another - alcoholism. Both work and family were sacrificed to the green serpent.
When Lisa was 7 years old, her family left for the GDR, and the girl was left with her grandmother. Since then, she has learned to be independent. And the choice of profession became an independent decision for her, for which she paid. The father who returned at that time, having learned about the choice of his daughter, was indignant and slapped her in the face. The neighbors and their friends, Vladimir Vysotsky and Andrei Tarkovsky, came running to the noise. The father was reassured, but the relationship in the family was hopelessly ruined. Liza then left home, but did not change her decision.
From an early age, she was acutely worried about her uselessness, loneliness and lack of understanding of loved ones. Since then, she has become accustomed to washing down fear and resentment with wine. Over the years, an innocent hobby has grown into a destructive passion. The atmosphere of bohemian life only contributed to this.
When the new chief director B. Lvov-Anokhin came to the theater, he called the young actress incompetent and wanted to fire her: “When did this young girl manage to stock up on a set of the most terry cliches? Does she have an individuality? " But Lisa was able to prove that there is - and got the main role in the play "Antigone", a landmark for her.
Her partner was Yevgeny Leonov himself, who immediately warned her: “You will get through. Only I advise you to think seriously. Please note that you will have a very difficult fate. For the sake of the role of Antigone, Nikishchina even decided to have an abortion, realizing that this was the only chance to succeed in the profession. This was not the first and not the last time that the actress had to choose between the theater and the family.
In the press she was called "the most charming kikimora of Soviet cinema", but it was a compliment - she got such a role in the film "There, on unknown paths …". Then she starred in two or three films at the same time, and her role in the film "Intercession Gate" made her a movie star.
Her roles were secondary and episodic, but vivid and memorable. What are the images in the films "The Adventures of Electronics" and "Pippi Long Stocking"! After their release, Nikishchikhina was given the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Nevertheless, she remained hostage to one role - an eccentric clown.
At the age of 32, Elizaveta Nikishchikhina, fate gave her a chance to correct her mistakes - she was proposed by the doctor of sciences, psychiatrist Eduard Leibov. She got married and soon found out that she was pregnant. At the same time, she was offered the main role in the theater - Katerina in Ostrovsky's The Thunderstorm. This time, the actress made a choice in favor of her husband and daughter.
Addiction to alcohol at that time turned into a pathological addiction. Nikishchikhina divorced her husband, but she again had a second chance - she married the writer Yevgeny Kozlovsky. However, neither he nor his daughter managed to save her from alcoholism. For the time being, the theater tolerated and forgave her forced pauses, but soon no one wanted to deal with the problematic actress.
Unable to overcome her pernicious passion, Nikishchikhina lost her husband, daughter, and job. Having missed all the chances that fell, the actress died in poverty and loneliness. Her death was ridiculous - she died of suffocation, choking on a piece of apple.
Unfortunately, alcohol has ruined more than one talented actress: tragedy of Valentina Serova
