A streaming service called DirecTV Now allowed Game of Thrones fans not to wait for the premiere, but to see the first episode of the last eighth season of the series four hours earlier. Individuals who have subscribed to DirecTV Now have received a message stating that the first episode will be available from 5:00 pm local time. Only a few users managed to watch this story in full. The duration of the first episode of the new season of "Game of Thrones" was sixty-five minutes.

A representative of the DirecTV Now service explained that no one was going to open access earlier than the scheduled time. Probably, the system itself was so impatient to see the first episode of the last season that it opened access ahead of time, when employees found out about the error that had occurred, they at the same time threw all their efforts into eliminating it.

On the territory of the Russian Federation, the premiere of the first episode was scheduled for early morning - at 4 a.m. Moscow time. The Amediateka service became responsible for the show of this series. This service is the only one within Russia who has the rights to show this series. Many users were waiting impatiently for the premiere, only they encountered some problems. It turned out that many who wanted to see the first episode of Game of Thrones had difficulties with paying for a subscription to this service, as well as with access to Amediatek.

The company did not deny the existing problems and easily explained this by the fact that there were so many people who wanted to see the first episode of the long-awaited eighth season as soon as possible that the servers at the start of the premiere could not cope with the load.

All the same representatives of the Russian service said that they expected to record ten times fewer viewers. The equipment could not cope with the load, despite the fact that its number was increased fivefold. It was noted that after the premiere on the service, this episode was shown on the site, and there were no problems here.

The eighth season of "Game of Thrones" is the most anticipated of all the series. A week after the last episode was shown on the HBO channel, they plan to show a documentary in which they will tell in detail about the filming of the final episodes.
