By three o'clock in the morning, he managed to "relieve tension" so much that he appeared in a restaurant, where a festive banquet was held on the occasion of the opening of the film festival, in a bathrobe and slippers. When the bartender refused to fill the glass because of the inappropriate appearance of Efremov, the latter began to loudly swear and insult the staff. Fortunately, the actor's friends managed to take him to his room without the involvement of hotel security and law enforcement officials.

In the same 2016, Mikhail Efremov, in a very peculiar way, invited the audience to attend a charity concert, in which Russian rock stars took part. All the money collected from the event was sent to help sick children. The actor recorded a video in which he invited everyone to take part in the concert, but he ended his performance in a too original way, indicating: "If you don't come, then you - g …!"

In August 2019, Mikhail Efremov, during an unauthorized rally, was pretty tipsy and tried to sort things out with the police in the center of Moscow. But Efremov was not at all embarrassed and cynically remarked: he would somehow endure the five years of Mikhalkov's remaining life even without work.

Samara incident

In the spring of 2018, Mikhail Efremov expressed his disrespect to the audience in Samara, who had gathered for the play “Don't Become a Stranger”, which he brought to the city “Sovremennik”. The leading actor was very late at the beginning, and when the performance began, Efremov went on stage, literally barely standing on his feet. Naturally, he could not work at full strength, and at the request of the audience to speak louder, he suddenly broke out in areal abuse. The unwillingness of the audience to listen to insults was understandable, so people began to leave the hall, and the same curses rushed after them. After the incident, the actor did not even think to apologize. He only said that the production was too difficult for the residents of Samara, and they "did not catch up". Allegedly, the stage image demanded such behavior from him. But eyewitnesses knew exactly what was the cause of the actor's inappropriate behavior.

Alcohol intoxication was the reason for drawing up an administrative protocol at Pulkovo airport. Representatives of the airline did not allow Mikhail Efremov to board the plane heading from St. Petersburg to Riga. Fortunately, passengers quickly recognized the staggering actor holding a bottle of whiskey and calmed down. And Efremov himself wandered around the plane for a long time, pestering people with some kind of drunken conversations. Then the producer and director Alexander Zamyslov, who made the story public and signed the testimony at the request of the crew, had to endure a confrontation with Efremov himself and his friend, who demanded a refutation of the story.

Mikhail Efremov followed in the footsteps of his famous father Oleg Efremov and has already played more than 150 roles in theater and cinema.
