Zinaida Kirienko decided to become an actress thanks to her aunt, her mother's younger sister. She was an acrobat, and besides, she sang, danced and was somewhat similar to Lyubov Orlova in the film "Circus".

After graduating from school, Zinaida Kirienko went to enter VGIK, which submitted to her on the first attempt. By the time she graduated from the institute, she had already managed to star in "Quiet Don" by Sergei Gerasimov and "Poem about the Sea" by Yulia Solntseva, and then there were "The Fate of a Man" and "The Tale of Fiery Years." So, Zinaida Kirienko came to the set of the film "Cossacks" as a well-known actress, whose filmography included serious roles.

Once in Grozny, in the vicinity of which the shooting took place, Arkady Raikin came on tour, and Zinaida Kirienko could not miss his performance. After filming, she went to a concert and met a young man along the way. He immediately approached the actress, said that he knew her from the films and slightly boasted that he was also acting in films.

Valery Tarasevsky just graduated from high school and actually starred in "Cossacks", only in the crowd. The young man took the actress to the concert, where he himself was heading, however, their seats were far from each other, and that evening they could no longer communicate. But a few days later, Valery approached Zinaida, who was resting by the Aragun River, until she was called to the set. Later, a scene was filmed where the actress drove a herd of cows after grazing, and suddenly it turned out that the props had forgotten to prepare a twig. Valery was very helpful, and immediately handed Zinaida a rod.

Since then, Valery began to visit the actress often. He was ten years younger than Zinaida Kirienko, although outwardly it was completely imperceptible. In addition, he touchingly cared about the girl he liked, did not force events and for some time young people did not even kiss, they just went to the cinema together, walked, talked for a long time.

When Zinaida Kirienko left for Moscow to play the play, Valery accompanied her to the train, he also met her from the capital. The actress was moved to a small, uncomfortable room, and the young man invited her to move to his aunt. Until the end of filming, she lived in the largest and lightest room in a three-room apartment.

And it was already clear: true love came to Zinaida Kirienko and Valery Tarasevsky. Soon they got married and after filming the actress returned to her room in a communal apartment not alone, but with her husband. True, in the registry office they signed only after the young husband turned 18 years old. A year after the wedding, the first-born Timur was born in the family, and seven years later, the second son Maxim.

Life long happiness

They lived together for 44 years. Valery Tarasevsky did not try to force his wife to give up the profession, realizing how important it is for her to do what she loves. He constantly helped Zinaida with the children when she left for the shooting. And the actress could not worry, because she knew: with Valery, the sons would be dressed, washed, and fed.

The couple quarreled very rarely, and after that they could remember their quarrels with a laugh. What, for example, was the story about how Valery suddenly became jealous of his wife for her colleagues, in whose company he was that evening. When Valery and Zinaida were already going home, it was night, and Valery suddenly decided to arrange a scene of jealousy for his wife. Zinaida Kirienko's attempts to justify herself did not have much success, and then, in her hearts, she struck her husband with her handbag on the head with all her might. The bag was made of the armor of an armadillo, and it could not withstand the collision with the head of Valery Tarasevsky, splitting in half. And the husband of the actress, taken aback, suddenly hit his wife. For the first and last time in my life.

Zinaida was crying, her husband begged for forgiveness, and then the police arrived. Fortunately, the couple very quickly realized all the senselessness and even comicity of the situation, and suddenly burst out laughing. The law enforcement officers also joined in the laughter, and then they took the actress and her husband home, wishing them happiness in the end.

And they were actually happy all their lives. Both of them were scared to even imagine that they might never meet. Or they would be guided in relationships not by their own feelings, but by the opinions of others. They decided back there, in the vicinity of Grozny, where Cossacks were filmed, just to be happy, regardless of what they think about their marriage.

Unfortunately, in 2004 Valery Alekseevich died. And not a single day passes without Zinaida Kiriyenko remembering him. She rejoices at her big and friendly family, which the actress and her husband dreamed of. Zinaida Kirienko has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, the youngest of whom is not even a year old. The kid, born in February 2020, became the full namesake of his grandfather, Valery Alekseevich Tarasevsky.
