There are such people - everything they touch turns into a work of art, even the most overwhelming rubbish. Who would have thought that junk office supplies - staples from a stapler - look almost like real skyscrapers? At least one person could think about it - a photographer Roger Albaniwho created his an unusual city of staples.

We have already written that you can write good installation paintings with staples for a stapler - in fact, such art in brackets has already taken shape in a hobby called Staples Art. But if they usually create drawings with the help of staples, then the Swiss photographer Roger Albani decided to build a whole city out of them on a writing table.

"The paintings show the brilliance of the world in its development," writes Roger Albani. Yes, something, and even the brilliance of an unusual hardware city is enough. Installation Bostitch city became a reflection of Roger Albani's interest in architecture and megacities: this resident of ancient and arrogant Europe for some reason is fascinated by American giant cities, the largest of which - New York - is one of the central themes of his work.

And yet, probably, the photographer does not like everything in New York - otherwise why would he depict the metropolis in such a reduced form? The unusual city of Bostic City really looks like the capital of skyscrapers - but what the same factory products these buildings look like! However, these are after all factory products. The sun in this city is a table lamp, the moon is another light bulb, dimmer. Blue wallpaper will serve as the blue sky, and instead of the boundless water surface, the mirror-smooth surface of the table will also fit.

Perhaps Roger Albani did an excellent caricature of new york - a city that became rich and powerful to such an extent that it practically lost its living face. On the other hand, maybe this is the immodest charm of such megalopolises? One way or another, Albani is not the only one who builds unusual cities from staple staples - for example, the already mentioned author of sculptural landscapes from scrap materials Peter Ruth even recorded on camera his process of creating the grandiose city of Ephemicropolis: a bonus track, so to speak.
