Would you believe that paper can be used to create sculptures? Yes, yes, not applications, not mom's birthday cards, but real three-dimensional sculptures! Sher Christopher creates real masterpieces only with scissors and paper.
She works with paper, only paper and nothing but paper. Sher cuts, folds, twists and … a beautiful three-dimensional "living" sculpture appears in front of us at the place where the paper for the printer is wrapped.
Each piece of paper has its own properties and characteristics. Thin, almost transparent paper in the product looks unexpectedly strong, and dense suede paper very reliably conveys water droplets flowing from the pirate's camisole. At first glance, the attention to detail, be it the indifferent raised eyebrows of a ladies' man or the trim on the shoe of a beautiful dancer, are not visible at first glance, but they make us look at these works again and again, each time revealing new facets of the sculptor's skill.
All works, whether it is a wall applique or a free-standing three-dimensional sculpture, are stored in special glass cases so that dust does not fall on them. Cher's sculptures can be seen at exhibitions in Britain and the United States.
