All of us understand that the design is constantly being improved. Sometimes designers come up with non-standard solutions, however, they still cannot be recognized as unsuccessful. They're just … unusual.
I would like to tell you about three things - armchairs, a cabinet and a pair of carpets. It seems that such a chair won't even be able to sit down. In fact, the chairs are not as soft and springy as they seem at first - you definitely won't be able to drown in them. As we learn, the chair is made not only of felt, but also of polycarbonate - we can see in the photographs something like a frame. By the way, the series of armchairs was named "Coral" for a reason, because the furniture is somewhat reminiscent of corals, isn't it?
The idea came from the designer Werner Aisslinger, and then I would like to move on to the story about the locker from Schelling & Borsboom.
From a distance, it seems to be somehow luminous, as if it was covered with sparkles. In fact, everything is far from the case, but all because of optical illusion. Coming closer, we realize that the wardrobe is decorated with nothing more than dominoes. Is it an ordinary solution? Of course not, and this is what attracts the project. The only pity is that it will not work here to consider the moves of the game - the chips are laid out in an absolutely chaotic order. Surprisingly, not only the cabinet doors are decorated with chips - looking down, we notice that the bar connecting the legs is all decorated with chips. Creative approach!
In the last project, we may be interested in, perhaps, only one carpet - it is wall-mounted, and very much resembles moss.
The rest cannot be called remarkable, except that we can note the stripes extending to the sides from the corners of the carpets. But nevertheless, the most interesting thing is green - it is both bright and "alive" some kind that you just want to come up to it and touch it by touch. The idea belongs to the Geneva University of Art and Design.

Curiosity cabinets, or modern cabinet of curiosities, were incredibly popular long before modern times. Chair from "chair" (concept project)
Very often, designers create their projects based on existing ones. Indeed, it is not for nothing that the proverb says: everything new is a well-forgotten old. And there is nothing wrong with using old ideas already forgotten by someone
Chair hairstyle. Hair Chair design installation by Baron & Baron art studio
Hairy chairs with stylish hairstyles are not the result of long and hard research and experimentation in the field of genetic engineering. Such is the unusual design installation presented at the London Design Festival
The chair as an object: design allusions to the famous Viennese chair
Parisian Pablo Reinoso is a true connoisseur of good furniture. The future designer created his first chair at the age of six. Over the years, the passion has not faded away. On the contrary, having received an education in architecture, Reinoso made a real fetish out of this piece of furniture, an object to be collected and reproduced in the most outlandish ways
