The truth that a dog is a friend of man has been known to us since childhood. However, there are situations when four-legged ones become not only comrades, but also the main assistants. On a special role guide dogs in the life of blind people - social advertising company Mira.
The Mira company is engaged in dog training for people with special needs. Recently, the Canadian agency Publicis released a series of laconic posters under the general slogan: “Guide dogs are vital for the blind. Donate to mira.ca "(" Guide dogs are vital for the blind. Donate at mira.ca. "). Charitable funds are needed to provide all those in need with assistance dogs, because this will make the life of people without sight a little more comfortable.
On the posters, the interdependence of a man and a dog is shown very eloquently: the couple is not connected by a leash, but by blood vessels going from the heart of the animal to the heart of the person. On the posters, you can see both an elderly man and a very young girl - both equally in need of the support of a guide dog. On one of the posters, all kinds of "monsters" are drawn to the man; only a four-footed friend who is ready to protect the owner can help him.
Interestingly, humans have been using dogs as guide dogs for centuries. The first specialized animal training schools were established in Germany after World War I to help veterans who lost their sight. In the 1930s. similar centers have appeared not only in many European countries, but in the United States. Today the practice of using guide dogs is quite common for Europeans, but in Russia, unfortunately, this is still associated with a number of difficulties.
