As soon as modern creators are not sophisticated in search of new means of expression! From everything they do their work: from paper, and from wire, and even from pencils. I just want to exclaim, as Syroezhkin once did in "Electronics": "How much progress has come!" But all ingenious, as you know, is simple, so Christopher Ryland did not choose overly complex themes and tools. He just paints flowers and does it very beautifully!
Christopher Ryland has been painting his floral canvases since the 1980s. In his work, one can very easily trace the gradual evolution of the artist's style: his use of certain colors is becoming more thoughtful, the images acquire brightness, boldness, and originality. It is as if a person is introduced into an intimate, inaccessible world of delicate flowers. They help to realize what a wonderful planet we live on, how many wonders and beauties the mysterious world of flora conceals.
Christopher Ryland graduated from Goldsmith College, London in 1972. In the 1970s, he created a number of large-scale murals and worked on a variety of public projects dedicated to the protection of the environment. In 1995, Christopher became a member of The Society of Botanical Artists, and in 2001 won his grand prize at the Westminster competition.
Christopher Ryland has held several solo exhibitions in London and East Anglia (where he lives). Many of his works have been used for promotions for companies such as Rosenstiel's, Medici, Hallmark, Paperlink, and Simon Elvin. Examples of his work can be found in many art libraries in the country. And recently, Country Life magazine published an article dedicated to his beautiful paintings. Christopher also teaches: he teaches various art courses at his studio in Sudbury, Suffolk.
In a word, Christopher Ryland never ceases to improve as an artist, delighting admirers of his talent (and their number is gradually increasing) with more and more new canvases. Everyone drawn bouquet evokes emotions, the colors of which are comparable to a riot of colors on canvases.
Unfortunately, Christopher Ryland does not have a website, but you can find many examples of his work on the Internet.

For museum workers, Irina Aleksandrovna Antonova was a legendary person. S. Pushkin … However, it is probably not even this magnificent statistics of achievements that is more interesting, but those people with whom fate brought it together.
