Todd Warner has been creating his warm, funny, kind sculptures for over 30 years. Cowboys and Indians, ostriches and giraffes - whimsical and colorful creations of all sizes adorn lobbies and living rooms, offices, museums and zoos, even the Orlando International Airport (USA) and the New York Expressway.

Despite the variety of characters, the sculptural images of animals brought international fame to the author. It is safe to say that Todd not only conveys the animal world of nature in his works, but also subtly feels the nature of the animals themselves.

Todd Warner has loved animals since childhood. Living in the countryside of central Michigan and spending most of his free time in the forest, the boy got used to calling owls and marmots his friends, learned to quietly approach deer and chipmunks … “I do not believe that animals are ruled by pure instincts. All of them are individuals, the only question is whether you can pick up a "key" for them. It seems that I manage to feel their souls, and they - mine."

“My work has an innate sense of humor. I love to make people smile and I can't help but be funny if that's what I am,”says Todd Warner. The sculptures of the author invariably have humanoid details: cows have a very touching maternal look, giraffes smile at ease, and llamas seem to be waiting to be told a bedtime story.

While Todd's sculptures appear to be made of the same material, they are actually made up of three different elements. The head is made of clay, and Warner primarily creates the nose - he wants to be sure that his animal can breathe. The body is made of wood and the limbs are made of steel. After that, the sculpture is covered with epoxy, which hides the transitions between materials. Then, finally, the time comes for painting - and another funny creature is born.

Todd Warner believes that his sculptures bring animals and people closer to each other. More works of the author and more smiles on the site.
