What will happen if you combine the existing plots of fairy tales, myths and epics about fairies, mermaids, witches and other fairytale heroines with the flight of fantasy and the author's thought of the artist? You will get something even more fabulous, magical and beautiful. In other words, Pat Brennan's paintings, drawings and digital-art will turn out.
The theme of fairy tales and fantasy is very beloved by artists. From recent works, it is worth remembering at least fairy-tale characters in miniature - wonderful half-palm-sized figures from Michelle Bradshaw. In Pat Brennan's paintings, all the heroines - from witches to centaurs - are beautiful and mysterious. And the beautifully traced background makes them perfect.
Pat Brennan is from England. Most of her life she used traditional methods of art - watercolors, oil paints. But in recent years she was lucky enough to discover digital-art, in which she is now a true master. Pat loves all art in general and is ready to paint with anything, anything that can leave a mark. She managed to draw, probably, all the fairytale heroines that we can imagine - witches, mermaids, warriors, princesses, fairies. She probably invented many herself, since her fantasy is great - it is worth looking at at least a beautiful canvas with a girl who looks at the stars, or a girl from the valley of swamps. These paintings would look equally great both on the walls of exhibition halls and on the covers of fantasy books.
Most of the fairytale heroines created by Pat can be viewed on her website.
