As you know, a person sentenced to death in the United States chooses for himself what he will be served at the last dinner in his life. And here is the photo artist James Reynolds decided to collect photos of such meals from different people in the project "Last Suppers".

Everyone knows the phrase: "We are what we eat!" From this point of view, the diet of absolutely any person is interesting. But James Reynolds in this regard is not interested in all people, but only criminals sentenced to death. After all, a few hours before their death, they themselves choose the menu for their last meal.

And therefore it is very interesting to see what exactly such a person will order, what exactly will be his last joyful feeling in his life. And here, it turns out, there are completely different cases.

Someone orders a hearty dinner full of fats and proteins. These, apparently, are those who have denied themselves these pleasures all their lives. Someone, on the contrary, asks to bring him only fruits and vegetables. Someone is leaning on drinks, ignoring food. Someone - for sweet. After all, sweets are one of the simplest and most reliable sources of endorphins in our body.

Well, there are some suicide bombers who refuse to eat at all. They only ask to bring themselves cigarettes or alcohol. They, as they lived, eaten away by passions and mortal sins, so they die with them.

In addition, James Reynold noticed that the tray itself, on which the prisoners are brought food, is very similar to a human face, which can smile, can be sad, and can be indifferent to the death row, depending on what they ordered for their last supper.
