A talented artist from Of Germany creates stunning hyperrealistic oil-on-canvas portraits. His work looks like real photographs, and only by getting closer, you can distinguish brush strokes.
31-year-old artist from Cologne (Germany) Mike Dargas (Mike dargas) paints portraits that are almost indistinguishable from real photographs.
Mike showed interest in drawing since childhood. At the age of 11, his talent was discovered during a sidewalk painting competition, which was held in one of the squares of Cologne (where the master lives and works). Later, after graduating from art school, Mike began to independently study various styles and methods of drawing. By the age of 20, he had already become a famous tattoo artist and even opened his own studio.
Inspired by artists such as Dali, Breton and HR Giger, Mike Dargas “tries himself” in surrealism and realism. Today the artist paints hyper-realistic portraits in oil on canvas. The master is not limited to any one type of person. He depicts both young and old, beautiful and gloomy. His work is difficult to distinguish from real photographs.
Another artist from Canada also amazes viewers with her large-scale hyperrealistic portraits.
