Juan Osborne is not an ordinary artist. His main work is digital puzzles, that is, digital puzzles, which he composes from thousands of repetitions of any pictures or inscriptions. Moreover, the inscriptions are taken not just out of thin air. For example, in honor of actor Denis Hopper, who died from cancer on May 29, Juan created a composition consisting of more than 1000 comments that people left after his death.
The fantasy (and somewhat obsession) of architect and web designer Juan Osborne knows no bounds. He used the mosaic style to create pictures of the heroes of the popular TV series "Lost", each of which was composed of the most common phrases they used. Ben - the hero of the same series - he made, for the first time using not words, but pictures. More precisely, a portrait of Ben and other characters in the series.
He also made several variations of the peace sign, based on the translation of this word into 300 languages. One of his last works is a puzzle dedicated to the not very well-known character Waldo in our country, who, being completely digital, looks just like the real one. Although collecting so many pieces, even the most die-hard lover of puzzles and mosaics, probably would not have been able to. And he has dozens of such interesting works on various topics. By the way, many impatient fans of the series tried to use his works related to the series “Lost” in order to get clues about the development of events.
It would seem that such puzzles are easy to do on a computer using some algorithms. However, this process is quite painstaking, and to create such works, Juan Osborne uses his own tools.
The artist's website www.juanosborne.com has information on each such puzzle of 1000 words.
