There is nothing better than a hot cup of tea or coffee on a frosty winter day. You can't argue with that, but we are not going to. So, someone prefers to start a new day with a fragrant drink, and slowly, skillfully savor every drop of freshly brewed "life-giving moisture". And someone uses these drinks not at all in order to enjoy its taste, color and aroma, but to delight others. The artist also professes this "coffee religion" Karen Eland, and tandem Angel Sarkela and Andy Saur, about whose coffee pictures we have already written on the site Culturology.rf … However, coffee and tea "colors" are painted not only far abroad. Kiev artist Radislav Dzyuba also a great master of such art as coffee art. But it all happened quite by accident. One day he was sitting and thinking about how to choose a background for his new painting, and at hand there was only a cup of freshly brewed coffee. This "dye" also went into action. Surprisingly, it turned out very cool, and since that time Radislav uses only "food colors".
How are such works born? First, the author outlines the contours of the future drawing and puts down points with an ink or fountain pen in those places where there will be shadows. Then tea (if you need a light tone) or coffee (when you need a darker tone) fills the drawing in the right places. Well, as the final touch - drawing highlights with acrylic whitewash. It seems that it is so simple, but in fact, the process is very laborious, requires tremendous endurance and takes a lot of time.
What is so interesting about such paintings: having a very limited number of colors and shades, artists manage to "squeeze" out of what is, the maximum that allows you to create the most real masterpieces in very gentle, autumn colors. The result is paintings in a retro style, and this is a very fashionable style nowadays.
