High-budget special effects, fast paced action and a breathtaking storyline from writers / directors Ridley Scott and James Cameron turned the films "Alien" and "Aliens" into Oscar-winning blockbusters, which not many have managed to surpass even today.

The idea, born of the talented Ridley, kept the viewer in suspense at the TV screens for several decades, making them jerk nervously from every rustle behind their backs. And the xenomorphs, who seized a spaceship with a crew, did catch up with fear just by their appearance, arousing genuine interest, forcing them to think about life on other planets.

10. Chimera

The game of God does not bode well for scientists in the science fiction Chimera, where two laboratory workers decide to try experimenting with a new life form, creating it in secret from their superiors and beyond.
