(Christian Tagliavini) is a modern photographer and designer who creates unique works in which he skillfully combines female and male pictorial images of the Renaissance era, as well as the fifties of the last century, seasoning with "costumes" written in the style of cubism and not only.
Graphic design became an excellent basis for his creativity, in which he decided to combine photography with delicate handicraft. In contrast to many modern photographers who give their preference to fashion trends, he turned to the well-forgotten, ancient images and traditions of the beautiful Renaissance era, which are still classics of the genre to this day, as well as to the restrained but elegant fifties. Severity, accuracy of details, sophistication, ceremonial solemnity - all this and much more is present in his unusual photographs, so similar to old paintings or magazine clippings. It is also worth noting one of the brightest series of works "Cardboard Women", in which Christian not only acted as a photographer, but also as a fashion designer. Armed with scissors, paper and cardboard, he created stunning costumes, accessories and hats for his models. As a result, it turned out very unusual and creative.
Every day, unusual ideas arise in the head of creative personalities, which they try to quickly bring to life. So, for example, I decided to try on not only the images of recognizable characters, but also women's dresses in order to fully get used to the role assigned to him. … Specializing in the reconstruction of historical costumes, she decided to go the other way and "revive" the picture heroines of different times, while she combined the Renaissance with elements of fast food.

Surely many remember how paper or cardboard dolls with paper outfits for them were printed in children's magazines, and later in special issues of magazines for girls.
