Italy will host the Russian film festival "Pages of History"

In Italy, 16 kilometers from Venice in the city of Jesolo, on June 20, a traditional festival called Pages of History, dedicated to Russian cinema, started. This festival has been held in Italy for 11 years. It presents the best Russian films of the season. This time five films will be shown here. This festival will last until June 24. Among the films to be shown at the festival is a picture called "The Green Carriage". A dramatic film by Oleg Asadulin, which tells about a successful filmmaker. The main character managed to achieve career heights, but while climbing the career ladder, he lost his family and conscience. This painting is inspired by the work of Fellini "Eight and a half". Asadulin considers Fellini an example to follow, but at the same time he tried to show his vision of history on a similar topic. He really hopes that his film will appeal to the Italian audience and will be understood by them. Earlier, the Green Carriage was shown in North Korea, Spain, China, Great Britain and some other countries. The festival will host a screening of the film by Alexei Krasovsky called "The Collector". He talks about the worst night of a debt recovery specialist. This picture was filmed without state support for minimal money, and only one actor starred in it - Konstantin Khabensky. The picture turned out to be very successful, paid for itself at the box office, received many awards and was presented in many countries: Israel, Czech Republic, Poland, America, France, etc. The third picture is "Honest Pioneer" by Alexander Karpilovsky. It tells the story of two schoolchildren who have to decide whether to help a stray dog in a furrier or go to a pioneer party. The Italian festival will also feature the romantic comedy "About Love" by Anna Melikyan and the war drama "I am a teacher" by Sergei Mokritsky. All Russian films will be screened at Aurora Square, where an open-air cinema is located. Films will be shown in Russian with Italian subtitles. After the screening, screenwriters, actors and directors will answer the questions that the audience has.
