Sharing the brightest moments of your life with your best friend is priceless. Charlie Labrador has been a devoted friend of Kelly O'Connell for the past 15 years, walking with her all the way from childhood to adulthood. And now, dying, Charlie could not miss such an important event as the wedding of his mistress.

Shortly before the wedding of Kelly O'Connell, Labrador Charlie was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and was told that he had literally a few days left to live. The owner was very sad, but the situation was, unfortunately, hopeless - nothing could save the dog, she could only hope that Charlie would live long enough to witness Kelly's wedding. Kelly took care of the dog, giving her all her attention. And contrary to the promises of doctors that the dog will live no more than two weeks, Charlie was able to hold out until the very day of the wedding.

On the day of the celebration, by the time Kelly walked with the groom to the altar, Charlie was already too tired to be next to the hostess. But instead of leaving the dog alone, one of the bride's friends took Charlie in her arms and brought him after the newlyweds. Photographer Jen Dziuvenis captured this touching scene. As a friend of the family, Jena knew how important it was for the bride to know that her four-legged friend was next to her on this crucial day, just as it was important for the dog himself not to part with his mistress.

"Everyone in the audience was extremely moved by what was happening," says photographer Jen. "It was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen. It touched us all to the core." It was clear that Charlie was not just a dog for Kelly, he was her best friend. "It was just as if Charlie was not an animal, but a family member who did not want to miss such an important event due to his illness. After the ceremony, Kelly stroked the dog and kept repeating to him" Charlie, you are here, you did it, Charlie. "Unfortunately, a week after the wedding, Charlie's time came to an end. He himself was gone, but the memory of him will remain for a long time, and photographs from the wedding are one of the most striking proofs of this touching connection between Charlie and Kelly.

Scotsman, ran side-by-side with a mongrel through the Gobi Desert, also considers his new pet more than just a dog - for him it is a real friend, for the sake of whom he crossed the whole world and for whom he is struggling with numerous problems, just to be together.
