This adorable, jet-black panther named Luna was born about ten months ago at a zoo in Siberia. For some unknown reason, the mother after giving birth did not accept the baby and refused to take care of her and feed her with milk. Fortunately, a girl named Victoria living near the zoo, who already had experience in raising big cats, came to the rescue. She essentially saved the kitten's life. And then Luna settled with her savior and became part of her family, making great friends with the mistress's Rottweiler. However, is such cohabitation really safe?

So, having become attached to the moon (after all, she essentially became her own mother), Victoria decided to buy her out of the zoo. She was confident that she could give Luna the life she deserves and needs. The hostess admits that she is superstitious, therefore, until three weeks of age, she did not show her ward on the Internet, and gave her a name only two months after her birth.

The owner's dog - a Rottweiler named Venza - and Luna were at first wary of each other, but after a long process of getting used to it, they got along and even became friends. The owner notes that the panther and the dog are inseparable: they play together, run together for a walk and explore the world around them together.

The pet owner blogs on several social media sites and some very cute pictures can be seen there. Venza and Luna are happy to pose in front of the camera both at home and against the backdrop of the beauties of nature. The videos published by the girl are also one continuous "cute". Charming Luna touchingly laps milk, lies on her back, substituting her tummy for the hostess, or gently presses against her cheek. In the photo and video recordings, you can see that the panther does not scratch or gnaw anything at home (furniture and other things are in perfect condition), in addition, in one of the videos it can be seen that Luna is actively using the scratching post.

On February 20, in honor of the fact that her pet was nine months old, Victoria posted a video selfie in which she holds Luna in her arms. At that time, the animal already weighed about 21 kilograms and had a height at the withers of 50 cm, body length - 69 cm, and tail length - 68 cm.

In it, the specialist explains that keeping a wild cat at home is not at all harmless, but rather dangerous, even if this cat is “kind” and “obedient”. The owner of such animals, who is offended by the lack of understanding in society (they say, my pet is under control and is generally not capable of harming anyone), is compared by a zoo employee to a person who comes to a dacha in a tank, walks through a city park with a loaded gun, or stores mercury at home because she "rolls on the floor cool."

Bragin draws attention to the fact that in the well-known cases of peaceful coexistence in a city apartment of a man and a wild cat, as a rule, we are talking about young animals. Then these pets inevitably disappear from the media spotlight. Either the animal is quietly sold somewhere, or it is transferred to an aviary, where it is started to be kept according to the principle of a zoo, or such cohabitation in a city apartment ends in a loud scandal or emergency. The specialist emphasizes that only a dog can live in the house as a dog, and even then even with dogs sometimes (although extremely rarely) excesses occur.

Mikhail Bragin notes that it is no coincidence that the employees of numerous institutions containing predators always work with a large number of restrictions. And if predators were able to become reasonable and good friends from man's love for them alone, then over the centuries-old history people would have somehow applied it somehow. But this is impossible.

However, it seems that the owner of the moon herself understands this. In the description of her channel on youtube, Victoria does not claim that the panther will always live at her house, but only cautiously notes: "After complete recovery, we will decide the future fate, everything depends on the state of health."
