The famous Mexican "Sarape" is considered the international symbol of the Latin American country. In many southern regions of the United States, this rainbow color can be found on jewelry, clothing, and even car covers. And the artist Adrian Esparza turned the national ornament into a real work of art. We are talking about wooden frames, which are stretched with colored threads, imitating the various weaving of "Sarape". In most cases, the original of the ornament hangs side by side so that a person can appreciate the beauty of the drawing with his own eyes.
Adrian Esparza grew up in El Paso and ran into Sarape almost daily. Therefore, there is nothing strange that the original colors were used in his work. Art connoisseurs liked the unusual presentation of the ornament so much that the artist's collection is successfully demonstrated in different countries, glorifying Sarape outside the homeland.
Someone even compares the bright colors of the fabric with origami, the transitions between colors look so clear and thoughtful. Of course, if we talk about the work of Joel Cooper, then here the resemblance to "Sarape" is quite difficult to find. Although his works are no less distinctive than those of Adrian Esparza.
